Family Stories

How It Works

In recent years, our efforts have been focused on helping Venezuelan families who deal with the daily effects of living under a totalitarian socialist regime. To ensure that our efforts are stretched to the fullest capacity, we require that all families we work with have an Advocate. This Advocate makes sure that the resources are being applied effectively. Each Advocate is responsible for updating the family’s progress so that doners can see how their donations are being utilized. The Advocate works with the family to identify effective ways that they can become more self-reliant and overcome the challenges that they are facing as a family. In the case of Venezuelan families, it often involves leaving the country, although this is not a requirement. We strive to strengthen families and the country from inside as well as outside.

Do you know of a family that needs help? Contact us about being an Advocate for them.
