Familia Moreno – An Amazing Artist
Daniel first reached out to Operation Family freedom in July of 2020. Daniel and his wife live in Venezuela and had been married for a short time. Daniel and his wife were starting a family and wanted to further secure their ability to provide for children. Daniel had heard about Operation Family Freedom from a Facebook group and felt that Operation Family Freedom might be a resource for helping him with his business.
Daniel is an artist and had been surviving by drawing artwork for local families and businesses. Daniel had limited access to a computer and was seeking assistance in purchasing a computer to further his reach.
At the time, Operation Family Freedom had very limited resources and was trying to increase its online advertising. Although Operation Family Freedom was not able to provide a free grant to purchase a computer, we decided to use Daniel and his talents to help some of our followers better understand life in Venezuela. Daniel was excited for the opportunity.
Operation Family freedom contracted with Daniel to use some limited advertising budget to start a new section on the website titled, “A View Inside Venezuela“.
Operation Family Freedom used advertising resources to pay Daniel for his time to put together several news articles and powerful cartoons to help users see the impact they can have by contributing to Operation Family Freedom.
Daniel still does some work for Operation family freedom. Although Daniel never received a 100% free grant, he was provided with an opportunity to work, which he previously did not have.
