Baby Gutierrez (David Steven Gutierrez) was born the first week of April and has been in the hospital ever since. He was initially treated for an infection but during the process, he contracted another infection. The baby was diagnosed with Meningitis. Operation Family Freedom was able to facilitate getting the baby to Caracas for further evaluation and treatment. Currently, Baby Gutierrez is doing better and expected to be able to return home in the next week or two.

Although he has a long road to recovery, we are excited for his parents to be able to have him in home and care for him while they continue to manage the other daily challenges presented by the Virus, economy, and political atmosphere. We are greatful for the opportunity we have had to be a part of his treatment and pray for him regularly.
