How does the economy work in Venezuela?

Most likely, you are already aware of the terrible economic crisis that is Venezuela.  However, do you know what Venezuelans do every day to live with this terrible economic monster?

During the last decade, the Venezuelan has gone from a state of comfort to extreme poverty very quickly. The arrival of socialism leaves no control in how production is managed in any company or industry. Political corruption and terrible political management have wiped out everything of value. The expropriation of companies, industries, and private lands, allowed the government to seize all the resources with which Venezuela could sustain itself.  Finally this has  destroyed what entrepreneurs in our country. The oil and gas industries have been wiped out, food processing is no longer available. In addition, international debts created as our country has attempted to feed itself has placed an additional rope around our neck,

All these problem resulted in the well-known devaluation of the Venezuelan currency. The shortages and hyperinflation consumes the little money that Venezuelans have.  In the beginning all the basic supplies disappeared at a national level. Was a terrible time because there was no food, medicine or articles of personal use in shops or supermarkets. It was then that the time of endless lines at the supply centers arrived.  Each person had a designated day of the week to buy 1 or 2 products, then you would need to wait 12 to 24 hours in a queue.  It sounds strange but people actually died waiting in lines.  During those time we all lived to the by  will of God, no matter how much money, or whatever you had in the bank account.  The reality was that there was nothing to buy.

Over the years, resources began to arrive from other countries to our supermarkets and shops. However, the prices are very high now the story has changed, now we have things to buy but we did not have money to do so.  The Bolivar has lost all its value. Currently, any commercial matter in Venezuela has become a black market, there is no price control by the government, the Bolivar has been set aside now people use the US dollar.

It has not been easy to adapt to this economic disaster in which we live, the more prices increase every day the more worthless the money we earn is. We can not buy what we need with our labor.  The government tries to create a band aid by giving money to the population to avoid revolution. However, among the masses we all know that the economy in Venezuela is in shambles
