Familia Gonzalez has been out of work for several months. He was able to immigrate to Argentina from Venezuela and was then able to get his family there, but was having a hard time financially as of late. This family was in bad spot and was about to lose their apartment where they would have been forced onto the streets. After receiving donations, we were able to send them some assistance for another month’s rent on December 1st. they were very grateful for the additional time that they would have in the apartment, and this would hopefully help him find work. He expressed that with the little extra, he would be sure and get the kids a little something for Christmas.

I waited two weeks and then surprised him with another Western Union drop to help him and his family with Christmas. He has a few interviews lined up for work but was still struggling. He has been doing day work when he can get it (think workers are standing outside home depot that works for cash). I will update as appropriate. This family expressed their gratitude for the assistance in this challenging time.
