Familia Narvaez – Familia Narvaez migrated from Venezuela to Peru last year. I know that he has had a hard time on several different levels. I know he has reached out to several former companions for assistance, and I believe he has gotten it on occasion. Currently, he has been out of work, and rent is coming due. Last week he contacted me again and said that his son broke his meniscus. He said that they are in a bad way. I expressed my concerns to him and I believe he is sincerely in the need. At this time, resources in the donations, account are very low. I told him that I was unable to send them any contributions. He was very gracious and expressed gratitude for the help last month. A few days passed and he contacted me again. He said he understood that I wasn’t going to contribute, but asked if I would be willing to create a GoFundMe campaign for him and his family. I would have to do it because he has no way of getting the money from the campaign. I could send the money he got others to donate. I told him that I would create the GoFundMe and he could use it as a vehicle to get his other friends and family to help them. He was very grateful. I noticed that he had shared it on his facebook but it has not raised any money at this time.
OCT 16, 2019 – Go Fund Me Campaign
For family and friends of the Narvaez family. It is hard to believe sometimes that so many different challenges can occur to one family. The Narvaez family has been one of those families. Like so many other families fleeing poor and desperate economic and political situations, it has been a long hard journey with several start overs and daily battles. Unfortunately, their son was recently had a sports accident where he tore his meniscus. Having just covered the rent for their apartment and recently burring a close family member they were ready to start moving forward. However, the need to help their son not be in pain and not sustain permanent damage they are in need of assistance. If you know this family and can contribute, I will collect it and transfer it to him in Peru. I know that the Narvaez family is very grateful for any assistance you can offer.

I was able get enough of a drop to Familia Narvaez to help with the rent and Medical bills for his son. I am told his son is doing better, but it is going to be a long road of recovery and he may have problems walking for a long time. By all accounts, It appears that they are doing well. I have not had frequent contact as the area they are in has limited internet access. They were able to get some medical attention for their son and expressed immense gratitude for the help that was offered.
