Familia Yris – Making Ends Meet

Yris is a mother of 2 young children. One of which has a medical condition that causes her to have seizures at random times, and can cause a lot of stress for the family, and requires constant medical control and a specific diet. Yaris has done well to care for her family and meet the medical needs of her children. Yris is an unemployed professional but from her home has carried out many commercial activities that have helped her support the family. Due to COVID-19 she has been completely stopped. It has been by the grace of God that she has been able to make the ends meet. Yris had an idea for ​​entrepreneurship by selling some food items and also make baskets for gifts on special days (birthdays, mother’s day, the child’s father, etc.) With a little help from Operation Family Freedom, Yaris was able to start her business making some food to resell and will gradually work up to making birthday baskets when she has the resources to proceed.
