What am I grateful for!

Even though times are dark for our nation, and we have a constant struggle, I am grateful for many things that help me keep the flame of hope in my heart, and I want to share them with you. I also invite you to evaluate why things you feel grateful and share them with us on our Facebook account. Being grateful strengthens our soul and makes us humble.

My parents.

My parents are the main driving force that I have to live to the fullest at each stage of my life, they are my best example of perseverance and improvement in life. They have always been there to hear my opinion, assess the situation, and advise me to make the best decisions. I admire their optimism despite the difficult days we live in, they consistently put forth the effort to earn provide for and love for each other. I am blessed to have them still alive, to know that I can see them laugh, hear their words, and being able to hug them motivates me to continue striving to become what they expect of me.

My wife.

I do not regret having made the decision to marry the most beautiful woman in the universe. She is the one who motivates me every morning to wake up to live a new day, who consoles me when I can no longer, who admonishes me with love when I am wrong. She always reminds me that nothing is impossible. I thank you for accepting my love and for giving me all your love, for making me happy every day, for being grateful even when we no longer have money in our bank account, to have the ability to find solutions to problems and therefore keep the spark of joy in times of despair. Without her, I could not be happy in the midst of the crisis that my country is experiencing

 My gifts and talents.

I know that all gifts and talents come from God, and I am grateful for the ability I have to express my feelings when drawing and writing. I also appreciate having the ability to walk, run, speak, jump, and dance. I give thanks for having a healthy body, full of energy and a lot of desire to live.

 Job opportunities.

I am grateful for the opportunity I have to earn my daily bread with him.  Sweat from my forehead or in other words from my work. Many people are unemployed in my country, and I am blessed to have a job that allows me to earn enough to feed my family and take care of my basic needs. I thank those who trust in my work and commitment, without them I would have no sustain themselves in these times.

The gospel of Jesus Christ.

Without a doubt, knowing the gospel of Jesus Christ and striving to live it with my family has been one of the greatest anchors for hard times and the main cause of happy moments. I am grateful for knowing that our life on earth is a time of probation, for knowing that we have at our disposal the guidance of the holy spirit to make correct decisions and receive comfort in times of adversity.  I also give thanks to the sacrifice of Christ for all mankind, thanks to it we can return to God if we make sacred covenants with him. I give thanks for the gift of repentance that allows me to change my actions for good and be more similar to the savior.

My country

Although Venezuela is not the same as before, I feel grateful for belonging to this land that is full of natural riches, populated with caring and fighting people and rooted in the culture of happiness.
