How to prepare for a socialist world

In Venezuela, we did not imagine that socialism would be like a tsunami that would end everything in its path, or that our lifestyle would become so desperate.  If we had been prepared for these times, we would be better off. I want to share some tips that you and your family can follow to be better prepared for a socialist world 

Attend personal growth workshops.

Although it is hard to believe, being submerged in a sea of crises like the one Venezuela is experiencing can drive you to real insanity. Some have even taken their own life. That is why my first tip is to take part in a personal growth workshop. You will learn to have a more accurate concept of yourself and of your ability to survive and overcome. You will learn to educate your mind and adapt to any scenario, from the most hostile to the most pleasant, having the ability to generate solutions instead of problems and regrets. Having these qualities will help you stay calm, think through the possibilities, to make the right decisions. As well as have the willpower to achieve your goals, even when everything is against you. Having good self-esteem and a positive mind amid the chaos of socialism is a tool that will help you survive safely and calmly

Take an entrepreneurship workshop.

Entrepreneurship has been around for a long time, in fact, all companies that are well established today began with a simple business idea.  As has been pointed out in other articles, entrepreneurship is the best option to survive in the socialisms.  The second piece of advice is that you take an entrepreneurship workshop before the arrival of the dark days of the revolution. These workshops will give you a different view of the business world.  Look for opportunities to have your own business, on which you can rely on your efforts. Workshops of this type aim to help you exploit your knowledge, skills, and resources in pursuit of yourself.  Having these strategies will undoubtedly be an ace up your sleeve in times of adversity because you will know how to make money even with few things at your fingertips.

Start a business that is feasible even in times of crisis. 

Even if you are part of a company and your salary is sufficient to meet your needs. My next advice is to start your own business based on your skills and resources. Maybe you need to put in a little extra money and effort into developing a business. You will learn not to depend on a salary and you will be able to attend to more than one issue at a time. You will also be prepared for times of crisis in which you will need more than one source of monetary income to support you and your family. 

Save money in another currency. 

It is true that money cannot buy everything, but if it is necessary to live in this century. Take advantage of the boom times to save money in another currency, you never know when you can use them. It does not matter if in your country the currency loses value as it has happened with the Bolívar, if you have savings in other currencies you can solve some emergencies in Crisis times. On the other hand, the practice of saving will help you develop techniques for managing personal finances that will certainly be useful in times of crisis.

Learn new trades. 

It will never be too late to learn new trades, in addition to the ones we already know. Unemployment is one of the greatest characteristics of socialism, so learn new skills that will be an advantage over others. Know about carpentry, sewing, hairdressing, cooking, baking, or web strategies (freelancer). It will be an opportunity to offer services and obtain profits from them, without the need to depend on someone else. 

These tips can make a difference for you and your family if you live under the darkness of socialism, encourage yourself to be prepared, and not suffer as we have done.
